St. Benedict’s Health Center is a nursing facility where health, choice, and independence come to life. We offer skilled nursing services, transitional short rehabilitation stays, and special care for those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia. Other services included are therapy (physical, occupational, and speech), social services, activities, culinary services, and spiritual care. Our quality of care is nationally recognized: our facility was the first in the nation to receive the AHCA/NCAL Sep III Quality Award. Generations Child Daycare is an extension of the ministry and services of St. Benedict's Health Center. We are open early morning hours and extended evening hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Preferred rates are available to individuals who perform shift work in the 24/7 healthcare/medical field. Contact Brenda Woehl or Rita Dvorak 701-456-7377 Northland PACE Senior Care Services is designed to keep seniors who are at risk for nursing home care living independently at home by providing the highest level of healthcare. This includes healthcare appointments to help participants remain as healthy and independent as possible. The program includes medications, eye glasses, hearing aids, and other assistance that PACE doctors may prescribe. Additional services may include in-home assistance. A Care Team coordinates all aspects of healthcare and inhome services for PACE participants, and includes a physician, nurse practitioner, registered nurse, social worker, health aids, and several others who assist. Vocational Rehabilitation has two missions: One: To assist people with injury, disease or disability to return to the work force. We assist with helping people determine what their strengths are so that they can get into a career that they can do lifelong. We can help with the costs of training, special equipment, job placement to get into work. The types of services vary depending on individual needs. Evaluation and eligibility determination are offered at no cost. Two: To assist businesses with issues relating to employment and disability. We can offer consultation regarding ADA regulations, ergonomics assessments, suggestions for improving access for employees and customers. We also work with them to match potential employees to their job openings – we can offer cost share for training employees as well as tax credits for some individuals. Consultations to the employers is offered free of charge.
