Leadership Dickinson is an 8-month interactive program of the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce that develops community-minded business and civic leaders of tomorrow.

During this program, high school seniors develop community awareness, volunteerism and leadership skills and culminates in the completion of a community project.

PROGRAM DIRECTORS

Suzi, Bridget, and Ashley dedicate their time and expertise to encourage the futures of the participants.

SUZI SOBOLIK, Steffes LLC

Through her involvement in a statewide leadership organization, Rural Leadership North Dakota, Suzi re-started up Leadership Dickinson in 2010. Leadership Dickinson has been a way for Suzi to make an impact on the community through fostering community awareness and involvement in the future leaders of our community.

Suzi is involved in her community in many different areas. She is active in working with her family business, Steffes Companies, through assisting with vision and planning. She is also a physical therapist with RehabVisions here in Dickinson.

BRIDGET BULLINGER, Fay Land Sales

Bridget represents real estate buyers and sellers as the Designated Broker at Fay Land Sales as well as works as the Consultant Dietitian for the North Dakota Beef Commission. As part of Leadership Dickinson, she is pleased to present topics on "Career Success" which includes education on resumes, networking, and application processes based on her experience.

She resides in Dickinson with her husband, Jared, and their three children. They enjoy all that living on the Western Edge has to offer to their family.

BRIDGET BULLINGER

ASHLEY TILLMAN, Dickinson State University

Ashley works at Dickinson State University as a Student Success Advisor and part-time at Blue 42! Ashley is originally from Wisconsin but moved to Dickinson in 2015 with her husband, Cris. She has a bachelor's degree in Human Services Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Ashley has been with Leadership Dickinson since 2018 and loves being able to connect with those in the community and our future leaders each year!

Outside of working life, Ashley and Cris have two little boys.

I am Cameron Wolf, a Senior at Dickinson High School. I play Baseball,Basketball and run Cross Country in the fall. I participate in National Honor Society as well. I am very involved in the special ed community at DHS with our Peer to Peer program and I have loved every second of it. I’m unsure of where I want to go to college, but I plan to continue to play basketball while going to school to become a teacher. I would like to be either a math, history, or Special Education teacher.

My name is Myah Merry. I am a senior at Trinity High School, after school I plan to get my bachelor's of science degree in psychology while playing softball, however I am undecided of what school. I am involved in basketball, softball, and volleyball. I am also an Assistant Chaplain! I am excited to get to know more about our community through Leadership Dickinson and I am so grateful for this experience!

Jaxon Braun

My name is Jaxon Braun. I am a senior at Dickinson High School. I participate in football and track, and I am also involved in National Honor Society and Peer-to-Peer. In addition, I serve as a leader in Fellowship of Christian Athletes. After graduation, I plan to attend Dickinson State University to pursue a degree in finance and accounting. I look forward to learning more about the community and developing my leadership style through Leadership Dickinson.

Hello my name is Hali Henke. I am a senior at Trinity High School. I play softball, I'm an Assistant Chaplain at Trinity and apart of National Honor Society. After school I plan on attending college in the North Dakota area while playing softball. I had a career path set but am thinking a different direction now. I am excited to learn about all the opportunities in the Dickinson area and am beyond grateful for the opportunity to be a part of Leadership Dickinson.

My name is Elizabeth Schneider and I am a senior at Trinity High School! I am involved in volleyball, basketball and track as well as an assistant chaplain. After high school , I plan to go to the University of Mary to major in Speech and Language pathology or Occupational Therapy. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of leadership Dickinson and look forward to the year!

Eryn Bird

My name is Eryn Bird. I am a senior at Dickinson High School. I am involved in National Honor Society and Student council where I am student body president. I have worked at St Luke’s home as a CNA for a year and a half. I plan to attended the University of Mary to pursue nursing. During my free time I love to hangout with friends and spend quality time with family. I love working out and being outdoors. I am so grateful for this opportunity and I can’t wait to see what this year brings.

My name is Lukas Eilts and I’m a senior at Trinity High School. I am involved in track, choir, drama, football, and student council. I am also an assistant chaplain and help with my church with kids care. After high school I don’t have exactly what I wanna do but I do plan to attend Black Hills University. I’m am very glad to be part of Leadership Dickinson and looking forward to learning about the community of Dickinson.

I am a senior at Dickinson High School. I am planning on going to college for biology and continuing on to medical school and being a radiologist. I am also planning on playing a sport in college. I am undecided on where I will be going to college. I am involved in many extracurriculars including softball, golf, hockey, peer to peer, national honors society, and student council. I enjoy reading and building legos in my free time. I am super excited for the opportunity that Leadership Dickinson provides for me!

I am also an assistant chaplain and a member of the National Honors Society. After high school I plan to attend BSC for a degree in exercise and sports studies, then I hope to get a job with the sheriffs department. I am grateful for the opportunity to be apart of Leadership Dickinson and I am looking forward to seeing the great things of this community.
